Lesson: Spanish Word Work: Begin by reading and showing pictures from the Spanish children’s books. The students will be given the coloring book pages with the English and Spanish words, and taught the pronunciation of the equivalent Spanish words. The students will then color the crayon book and staple it together. The students will order the number pages in their book as well as color them. Assessment: The students will be asked to verbally identify colors and numbers in Spanish following the creation of their journals.
